The overall strategic objective of the programme is to build a border region with vital, knowledge-based regional economies, socially and environmentally attractive, playing a significant role among European metropolitan regions.

2.2 Sustainable spatial development and sound regional governance 2.3 Cooperation and joint management of protected areas
